MINISTRIES OF 99 PLUS 1
The Serenity House is an on-campus ministry to the elderly. There are two components to the Serenity House, 1) A assisted living facility and 2) a Day Care facility. Both entities are staffed by local brother’s and sister’s in the Lord, who care for and minister to the elderly of San Felipe.
ADULT DAY CARE
The Adult Day Care (ADC) is a service to the seniors of San Felipe. By design it is multi-functional. It functions as an activity center for the seniors, as a place for "old" friends to catch up with each other, a place where families can safely leave their aging parents that would other wise be left alone at home. In addition, the ADC delivers a noon day meal to homes of the shut in elderly. This allows for the opportunity to "check in on" those that do not have a local support family or friends.
THE MISSION HOUSE
The Mission House is a “receiving facility” for short-term missions teams from churches and other groups. The purpose of the Mission House is to receive teams from around the world in order to work with local churches, conduct social outreach and evangelism events, perform Christian education and training, as well as construction projects. The Mission House offers a secure protected facility, with gated parking, areas for worship and devotions, full kitchen, and a dormitory style lodging for up to 25 people.
