Five years in a Row
The Tecate Christian School completed their fifth straight year of blessing San Felipe with their 3rd grade class. TCS is a part of the Tecate Mission in Tecate, CA. It’s student body is almost entirely Mexican, which daily crosss to attend classes.
This year Ms. Jeri Label brought her students and some of the parents to do musical presentations at the San Felipe Mission Church, at Nueva Cancion (Men’s Christian Rehabilitation Center). They sponsored a bar-b-que for both the local Christian Rehabilitation Centers, Nueva Cancion and FAMA (for women). The children heard testimonies to encourage them to stay away from drugs. The children also handed out tracts on the beach to passersby. We were able to include science oriented lessons on plant life, marine life, and tidal effects on fishng, and new governmental plans to protect the Sea of Cortez ecosystem.
It is always a blessing to see young people being developed and nurtured to grow in the Lord.
