The mission of “Under His Wings” is to provide young women and single mother’s with a safe, supportive, loving home environment where they can take refuge as they reestablish themselves in the community. Our desire for these women is that they grow strong enough physically, spiritually and emotionally to become the heads of their households, providing for their families through the provision of the Lord and their own labors.

 

While at Under His Wings, the women and children will be met with the love of Jesus Christ. They will learn what it means to put God first in everything we do. And they will be encouraged to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ and a life that glorifies His name.

 

In addition to their spiritual growth, we will look to provide opportunities and resources which will help them stabilize their lives; which may include, but is not limited to: counseling, assisting in enrolling them into school to finish their basic education if needed, training them in a skill, job hunting skills, and ultimately, assisting them in making the transition into their own home.
