Serenity Staff Change
99 Plus 1′s Serenity House for elderly men recently under went a staffing change. Brother Joaquin and his wife, Sister Lupita have graciously accepted the responsibility for heading up the caring for the men who live at the house. They have been long time friends of the ministry and have assisted around the 99 Plus 1 complex in many ways including cooking, cleaning, gardening and preparing the group facilities in order to receive groups.
Presently we have two elderly gentlemen. Mingo whose past life remain somewhat of a mystery to us since he can’t talk clearly. And Antonio who is a delightful, joy-filled gentleman of 90 years. Once Joaquin and Lupita get settled, we will look for opportunities to bring in one or two more depending on the Lord’s leading. Please pray for the Lord’s wisdom in their lives as they head up this part of 99 Plus 1 Ministries outreach.
We have appreciated Brother Alfonso’s dedication to helping start the Serenity House and we pray God’s Blessing as he prepares for the next step in his life. He leaves with our gratitude and our appreciation for all his time and efforts.
