Local Volunteers Help with Technical Areas at Sonshine
Thanks to two volunteers, one electrician and one plumber; stepping forward to take the lead in their respective area of expertise areas, the Lord is moving the entire project of Sonshine Hacienda forward. Volunteer Harry Ortiz with helpers are working on the rough wiring for the dormitory rooms, care taker apartments, dormitory restrooms, kitchen, laundry, and medical office. Jim Eckler has taken the lead on the plumbing. We have had a couple of other volunteers that have come along side the effort, one of which is a plumber as well, advancing the plumbing to the point that the majority of the 2nd floor plumbing for the supply and the drainage is in place. In addition to each of the named folks above, there have been a number of other volunteers helping in a many areas from general cleaning, cleaning cement out of electrical boxes, to holding things in place while they are being attached. God has clearly blessed the Sonshine Hacienda Orphanage project in so many ways.
