The Oxford Advent Christian Church is returning to Mexico in 2008. This time they are coming to San Felipe to help with the Sonshine Hacienda Orphanage project. In previous years they have been to the La Purisima Valley in Southern Baja, Ensenada as well as they were the group that started the construction on the 99+1 2-story building in San Felipe. WELCOME BACK OXFORD!

Our Vision

To prepare Mexican Christian workers so the gospel can be effectively presented and Christians discipled.

To accomplish our vision we:

Recruit Mexican and American Christians who are willing to pray for the development of churches and who have a desire to fulfill the Great Commission in Mexico. (Matthew 28:19-20)
Develop and maintain a systematic program for continuing encouragement and education for Christian workers, especially for those working in rural or isolated areas.
Aid Mexican Pastors and Christian Workers with evangelistic and discipleship resources.

Prayers & Praise

Home Again!
Bonnie & I are back home again. Her surgery was successful and the recovery is going well. PTL! We spent a week with the Wilson’s in Somerset for a time of rest. We thank the Lord of their friendship and hospitality. The healing will take just under a year so Bonnie is learning a “new normal” for new. Continue to pray for patience for both of us. Thanks be to the Lord and to each of you praying us through!

God is GOOD!
Bonnie came through her back surgery just fine and is out of the hospital. We are spending a week with friends until her follow-up appointment on the 24th. Thanks for the prayers and to God for his continuous watch care over her and the medical staff.

Include Karen Lewis on your Prayer List
Karen has been suffering from an onset of severe headaches. While the doctors appear to be closing in on a diagnosis, the headaches continue. Please join us in prayer for our partner in ministry at Sonshine Hacienda. We pray for identification and resolution for her, wisdom for the doctors and technicians.
