99plus1 Ministries

99 Plus 1 Ministries and several local churches of the San Felipe Pastoral Alliance joined resources with Ministerios de Rios de Agua Vida (River of Life Ministries) from Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico to hold a program for the youth of San Felipe. Rios de Agua Vida coordinated the event bringing together several Mexicali church youth bands to minister through music, dramas and testimonies in the waterfront area (Malecon) of San Felipe on a Saturday evening. The youth of the team had passed out invitations at all of the target age schools in San Felipe two weeks earlier and the day before the event. Clowns passed out invitations and invited people to stop and enjoy the music during the 4 hour event. Some of the team members walked up and down the waterfront to speak with people about Christ. The results are written in the Heavens. I don’t know (or care) what the numbers were. I do know that the evangelistic members of the team were busy during the entire time sharing or praying with someone or some family or some group of teenagers walking by the site.

99 Plus 1 had the privilege of being the logistical center and event coordination site for the more than three bus loads of people that came from Mexicali and for housing and hosting the advance party for the event. We were also able to contribute to the New Testaments and tracts that were disbursed throughout the event because of previous donations from several groups and individuals. God is Good!
